A new cast means more than another audio track
The Malayalam and Hindi Drishyam films are different productions. Their sequels have different records too. Jersey's Telugu original and Hindi adaptation likewise retain their own casts and years. A dub changes the spoken track of a particular production; a remake is not simply that track selected in a menu.
Television, animation and live action
One Piece and Avatar: The Last Airbender each have animated and live-action series. Their seasons should not be merged into one episode guide.
